We’re excited to introduce our newest innovation: The Plate Pack featuring polypropylene plates (PP) for Tower Press Filters. This innovative offering promises enhanced efficiency and durability, marking a significant milestone for Roxia and our amazing team. It has been quite a journey, but we’re proud to say this is the outcome of great collaboration and persistence.
Building the Foundation for Polypropylene Plates
It was a couple of months ago when Roxia’s first polypropylene plate pack was assembled at our Myllykallio facility in Lappeenranta/Finland. After months of dedicated work, we successfully created a top-notch product, supported by a strong supply chain. At the heart of this chain lies a valuable partnership with a European manufacturing powerhouse, carefully evaluated during a thorough audit in November.
Throughout the audit, we meticulously refined the technical details, focusing on the involved design elements, product finishings, and strict quality control measures.
The path to productization was paved with thorough attention to detail, incorporating feedback from end-users. Starting from the initial idea to the final implementation, the procedure included a precise definition of characteristics, intricate component planning, supplier validation via assessments and trial shipments, and careful establishment and examination procedures.
First Plate Pack with Polypropylene Plates Installed at Customer Site
Now, our first Plate Pack featuring polypropylene plates and duplex steel components with Hastelloy inserts has begun operating at a client’s facility. The close partnership with suppliers and proactive interaction with our customers allowed Roxia to exceed expectations, establishing itself as a reliable provider of equipment components.
