Roxia Oy separates its environmental technology business into a separate company called Roxia Plasma Oy. The new company was created by combining Roxia’s environmental technology business with Wapulec, a company specializing in cold plasma technology. In addition, the Vartiainen family’s investment company Capillary Oy and the North Savo Startup Fund have become owners.
Roxia Plasma Oy focuses on the development and commercialization of cold plasma oxidation technology. This innovative technology offers an effective solution for the removal of harmful ingredients from wastewater, and it is particularly suitable e.g. for the removal of pharmaceutical residues from the pharmaceutical industry and municipality wastewaters. In addition, the technology has proven to be a promising alternative in the removal of forever chemicals such as PFAS compounds.
